My PS3 cannot obtain an IP address. I've been at this for like an hour and can't figure this out. My PS3 can't obtain an IP address so I can't connect to the internet.

Jun 27, 2010 · IP addresses are like chairs. Sometimes when you get up to get a soda, someone steals your chair. I can't say from this info what is preventing your PS3 from getting an IP address, but if you power everything off, power on your modem, wait, power on your router, wait, and then power on your PS3 that will refresh all the IP address stuff.
