Jul 15, 2012 · I have been using ATT DSL for about ~6 years and U-verse for about 4 years now. I have used different speeds ranging from 3-24Mbps with a price range of 23-30$/month. There is Charter and Time-Warner available around the same price range at my place. I recently changed from the U-Verse 3Mb package to 12Mb one.

A hardwired connection to the linksys will produce full speeds(100/20). When i try to use wireless, i get slow download speeds and full upload speeds (30-50 down and 20 up). With the supplied ATT BGW-210 router, I can pull 300+mb down on my iPhone and other wireless clients. When it comes to internet speed, AT&T has only two choices: up to 100 Mbps and 940 Mbps. And don’t forget: that up to 100 Mbps speed will actually be whatever the highest download speed is in your area. So you could end up with speeds slower than 100 Mbps. Unlucky.
